Objectives

Objectives of the symposium:

General objective:

The general objective of this symposium is to provide a situational overview of the state of governance in the fields covered by the various themes, in particular the governance of peoples and societies, university and research governance, employability and economic competitiveness, governance of food, nutritional and environmental security, governance of health systems, security governance, governance of linguistic, artistic and cultural diversity.


Specific objectives:

Specifically, the aim will be to shed light on :

  • * Governance of food and nutritional and environmental security ;
  • * Governance of health hystems and major health crises (CSM) ;

  • * dentification of communication and dissemination mechanisms on governance issues facing the challenges of global change ;
  • * Proposal of resilience mechanisms for better governance in Africa.

    LANGUAGE OF COMMUNICATION

    The official languages ​​of the conference are French and English. Arrangements will be made for simultaneous English-French translation of all plenary sessions and most parallel sessions.


    SOUMISSION ET VALORISATION DES CONTRIBUTIONS


    1. Submission

    Abstracts must be presented in French or English. A person can only submit one abstract as the principal author.

    Two forms of contributions can be submitted :

  • * Papers at the symposium may include theoretical reflections and/or empirical work. The symposium will also be a forum for forward-looking and convivial discussion and reflection between the scientific community and practitioners from the world of organizations and companies.
  • * The selection will be made on the basis of communication intentions.

  • - Oral Communications

    Oral communication proposals must respect the following format (Times New Roman, Size 12, single spacing) :

  • * Title of the communication (Capital letters, Bold, Times News Roman, Size 12) ;
  • * Names, function and affiliation of the author(s);
  • * Author's email address;
  • * Abstracts must not exceed 3000 signs including spaces (context, objective, methodology, results, conclusion).
  • * Presentations will take 25 min (10 min presentation + 15 min discussion).

  • - Poster

    Poster proposals must respect the A0 Format (118 x 84.4 cm or 120 x 80 cm) and not exceed 1500 characters including spaces.

    The Posters will be exhibited during the three days of the symposium in a dedicated space.


    2. Valuation of contributions

    After selection by the scientific committee of the conference, certain papers may be proposed for publication in a collective work and in a thematic issue in the scientific journals of PASRES and FONSTI.

    Communication intentions will be evaluated by a scientific committee. Authors will be informed of the decisions of the scientific committee.

    Authors whose submissions are selected by the scientific committee will be invited to submit a full text of 5,000 to 7,000 words, for publication.


    - Awards

    Prizes will be awarded to the best communications from the different axes:

  • * Award for Best Female Oral Communication
  • * Best Poster Award
  • * Best Communication Award (Young researcher)

  • - TARGET AUDIENCE

    This conference targets teachers-researchers, researchers, students, professionals, public and private administration executives, associations, and all those interested in the topic. A certificate will be issued to each participant at the end of the symposium.
